· Active Older Adults, a special event for those 55 years of age and older.

Events conclude on a gorgeous horse farm with festivities including music, refreshments, and kids’ activities.

As footsteps traverse the forest floor, brightly colored leaves trickle from the hardwoods, swirling deep down into the secluded hollows. A gentle thermal slides up the slope, the soft touch elevates the soul. Once atop Western New York’s highest point, temporary trail signs loom ahead explaining the history of the massive rock formations, noting flora and fauna specimens, and historical artifacts. RidgeWalk & Run is one of the area’s largest and certainly one of the most totally unique fall active lifestyle events.

RidgeWalk & Run 2014 Proceeds at Work…
Five years ago, in the ultimate example of re-purposing, part of the former Wellsville, Addison, and Galeton Railroad line was opened to the public as the WAG Trail. Following the upper Genesee River, this recreational trail has been used for walking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, biking and other outdoor activities.  Read more here...
